About us

SDI Asset Management is a real estate management and consultancy company based in Sao Paulo. SDI was founded by the partners of SDI Real Estate Development, which has been developing properties in the main Brazilian real estate markets since the 1970’s.
We are assertive and faster enough to analyze risks and capture the opportunities in different market cycles. For that, SDI Asset Management works as a high performance trustee, to establish ongoing relationships based on ethics and excellence management and results.




SDI Asset Management’s strategy is to diversify the investments in the real estate market through acquisition, development or retrofit and active asset management. Our focus is in corporate, industrial-logistical, residential and mixed used properties.

Who we are

Arthur José de Abreu Pereira is the founding partner of the SDI group, Aldan and NEST. Since 1974, he has participated in over 80 large development projects in Sao Paulo. Mr. Abreu Pereira is a council member of WCF Childhood Foundation Brazil, founded by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden to help at risk children and teenagers.  He is also one of the founders of ICE – Instituto de Citadania Empreserial, a non-profit organisation which supports social developments in poorer communities.  Mr. Abreu Pereira graduated in Business Administration from Fundaçao Getulio Vargas University

André de Abreu Pereira is one of the founders of SDI Management, SDI Property Development and SDI Wealth Management.  He is responsible for management, structuring of new projects, and risk management.  Mr. Abreu Pereira has worked in the investment industry since 2004, and has participated in the investment of over R$1.2 billion.  Prior to SDI, he worked at Audi as a Customer Relationship Project Manager.  He graduated in business Administration from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM), and the OPM 45, Harvard University.

Dario de Abreu Pereira Neto has worked with property investments, construction and asset management since 194.  he has been responsible for the development of projects, from conceptualisation to final commercialisation, location and/or sale of over 60 buildings, for example FL 4300, FL 4440, Millenium Office Park, Berrini 500 and 1681, Ohtake Cultural and Santa Catarina. Mr. Pereira Neto graduated in business and also holds an MBA from Fundaçao Getulio Vargas.

Narciso has been involved in construction and project management since 1983. He is responsible for environmental assessments of sites, coordinating architects and engineers, and procuring government grants. He is regularly highly involved in the management of projects during the construction phase.  He holds a degree in engineering from Universidade Mackenzie.

Alexandre is responsible for financial administration and analysis at SDI.  He has worked in the property field since 1999.  He began his career at Serplan, in the commercial and sales divisions, becoming a commercial director a year later.  Before this he worked in financial services at Coinvalores and Siemens AG, as a financial controller on their projects with Telecom.  Mr. Abreu Pereira holds a business degree from PUC and completed courses in finance and statistics while at Coinvalores, and has also studied at UC San Diego.

Rafael has experience in the financial market for more than 15 years, when he joined the investment management company Tarpon Investimentos in 2002 where he worked until 2006.

After, he founded Delos Asset Management, a company focused on the equities investments, until it sold the company in late 2012.

Later he worked as equity manager at Valora Investimentos and also at the multi family office Berkana Patrimônio.

Rafael holds a degree in business administration from FAAP and holds a CGA certificate from Anbima and is authorized by the CVM as a Licensed Portfolio Manager.

André Sawaya is responsible for making investments decisions together with the board of directors, as well as managing assets already in the portfolio. Prior to SDI, Mr. Sawaya has worked for 20 years as a financial advisor for M&A and Project Finance deals at ABN AMRO, Santander and Rio Bravo Infraestrutura. He has been working with Real Estate since 2008, managing and developing residential and commercial projects as a managing partner of Propel Investimentos and more recently at Brenv Investimentos, where he acted as CIO and managing partner between 2015 and 2019. He graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP) and Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School (Opm 53).

Daniel Takase is responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of investments in SDI Gestão. Prior to joining SDI, he worked at Paladin Realty Partners, a Latin American real estate investment fund manager. He worked as an investment director at São Paulo offices and was responsible for the origination and management of new investments in Brazil. Previously, he worked at Tishman Speyer and later at Fibra Experts, directly as head of acquisitions, new business, partnerships and as the commercial manager of corporate asset leases and sales. He graduated in Civil Engineering from UNICAMP and has two specializations in Real Estate, from USP – Polytechnic School and FAAP – Secovi University. He has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2013 (MRICS).

Lucas is responsible for the financial management of the company. He has 15 years of experience in the financial and real estate markets. He was a partner at Brenv Investimentos, where he structured and managed real estate projects. Previously he was the CFO of STS Gaea, a firm focused on Private Equity, Financial Advisory, and M&A advisory. Lucas also was one of the founding partners of Propel Investimentos where he managed credit, real estate funds and led asset allocation for individuals with high acquisition power (Multi-Family Offices). For 5 years Lucas acted as a senior investment professional for one of the main single Family Offices in Brazil, UV Gestora. Previously, Lucas worked at Banco Votorantim and Mercer HR Consulting.

Lucas holds a Masters in Economics from Insper (Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa) and has a degree in System Analysis from FATEC-SP. He also completed a post-graduation degree in Business Administration and Financial Markets (CEAG) at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo (FGV-SP). Lucas is also authorized by CVM and ANBIMA to act as a Securities Portfolio Manager and holds a CGA certification from ANBIMA.

Cássia Nunes Reis is the head of the legal department at SDI Gestão.

Lawyer working on Business Law, focusing on Contractual Law and Real Estate, provides legal advice on structuring real estate business, including real estate acquisition, leasing, development of real estate bussinesses and subdivisions and other matters related to the construction area. Also has expertise in M&A operations, real estate funds structuring, credit securitization and compliance.

She is fluent in the languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.

Prior to joining SDI Gestão, she worked in the legal departments of Odebrecht Realizações Imobiliários e Participacoes S.A. and Fulwood Empreendimentos Imobiliários Ltda. She worked in renowned law firms in São Paulo such as Bicalho and Mollica Advogados, Tubino Veloso, Vitale, Bicalho, Dias Advogados (currently VBD Advogados) and Navarro Advogados.

She graduated in Law from UniFMU in 2006. She attended Lato Sensu Post-Graduation in Contract Law from CEU-IICS in 2008. She also studied Business Real Estate Law from SECOVI University in 2009. She is an associate of the Brazilian Institute of Real Estate Law. (IBRADIM), and is a member of the Real Estate Business Commission since 2018.

Márcia participates in project feasibility analyses as well as accompanying the financial management of equity investments, holdings and their SPEs.  She has been working in the property sector since 2010.  Before SDI, she was placed in charge of coordinating accounts audits at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she worked for four years.  Mrs. Yamamoto holds a degree in Computer Sciences from UMIFEI and an accountancy degree from UNIP.  She has also completed a Masters in Financial Management, Control and Auditing at FGV.

Roberto is responsible for the analysis of investments in real estate projects, and is also responsible for the origination and execution of logistics and industrial investments in SDI Gestão.

Prior to joining SDI, he was a partner of Iniciativa Agro, a company focused on the acquisition of agrobusiness and farmland projects. He also worked at Odebrecht Realizações Imobiliários in real estate development and controllership areas where he participated in the development of real estate projects of over R $ 700 million in PSV and he also worked at XP Investimentos.

Roberto holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado – FAAP and a postgraduate degree in Project and Business Management from Insper – SP.

Raquel Neiva Napoli participates analysing projects viability as well as monitoring the financial management of holdings, their SPEs, LPs, GP and real estate fund. She has over 3 years of consolidated experience in Planning and Control, Cash Flow and Budgets, 5 years in Marketing, Risk, Credit, Collection and Onlendings. Prior to SDI she worked at Brookfield Incorporations in the Planning and Control area where she gained 8 years of experience. Ms. Raquel has a Bachelor degree in Information Systems from the Bandeirante University of São Paulo.
